Opening Sequences - Introducing Characters - Introduction

I want to look in more detail at some of the conventions that I have found in opening sequences, particularly the way characters are introduced, the way locations are presented and the ways that mystery is created for the audience.

Firstly i'm going to look at characters and how their traits are introduced by looking at the opening scenes of three different films - Spectre, The Wolf of Wall Street and Raging Bull.
