opening sequences of thriller films - introduction

I'm going to have a look at the opening sequences of a number of thrillers, though this time i'm going to be looking at how the conventions of the thriller genre are apparent in opening sequences. The opening sequences i've decided to look at are from Argo, Zodiac, No Country for Old Men, Bridge of Spies and Gone Girl.
